7,192,000 passengers depart from Changzhou in the Spring Festival travel season

   It is learned from the transportation department that the Spring Festival travel season of 2013, started from January 26, was concluded on March 6, lasting 40 days in total. During this period, Changzhou departed securely 7,192,000 passengers, an increase of 8.16% over last year, including 5,949,700 highway passengers, up 5.54%; 1,111,500 railway passengers, an increase of 17.56%; and 130,800 air passengers, a year-on-year growth of 33.44%.

    In order to ensure the safety of transportation during the Spring Festival, Changzhou Transport Management Department investigated 15,557 vehicles and 324 traffic violations, which guaranteed life and property safety of passengers.
