A French professor with postdoctoral degree joins Changzhou University

 On March 11, Changzhou University’s first full-time French professor recruited in 2003, Mr. Jean-Yves Le Brazidec (Chinese name: Xiang Yun), started his first day of work. He got PhD in organic synthesis at Aix-Marseille University (AMU) in France, and has postdoctoral positions in the University of Glasgow in UK, Tohoku University in Japan, and the University of California, Riverside in USA.

After joining Changzhou University as a full-time professor, Xiang Yun will establish a high-level research team based on the current platform of school and the city’s focus on biomedical industry, not only carrying out cutting-edge scientific research, but also promoting close connection between enterprise, university and research institute.
