Changzhou environmental protection section named Advanced Group in Pollution Reduction

On the afternoon of March 26, at the pollution reduction television and telephone conference of Jiangsu Province, Changzhou’s environmental protection section was named the Advanced Group in Pollution Reduction in Jiangsu Province 2012. According to the pollution reduction targets issued by Jiangsu Provincial Government, this year, Changzhou will put more efforts on emission reduction investigation and regulation. Besides, Changzhou will optimize the working methods against the problems occurred last year, for example, treatments to emission should be more specified in different conditions, facilities management ought to be more professional, etc. Expected in 2013, the city will shut down 24 chemical plants whose polluting emissions can not reach standards stably.
