27 markets each make annual turnover of above one billion

 It is learned from the Statistics Bureau that Changzhou currently has 59 trade markets each with a total revenue of above 100 million yuan. These markets have 5,252,200 ㎡operating areas, 41,500 rented booths, making an annual turnover of 189.088 billion yuan.

Large markets have been playing a major role. In 2012, 27 markets in Changzhou each realized turnover of one billion yuan or above, accounting for 45.8% of all markets. The total turnover reached 178.391 billion yuan, taking 94.3% of the 100 million-turnover markets.
