Institute of History & Culture established by Changzhou University and Changzhou Academy of Social Sciences

On the afternoon of April 10, the inaugural ceremony of the Institute of History and Culture was hosted in Changzhou University. Ms. Xu Ying, member of the Municipal Standing Committee and director of the Municipal Publicity Department, attended the ceremony.

The Institute of History and Culture is another research platform built by the city, which will best apply the experience and achievements of the existing institutes of Changzhou University, as well as the professional high-level personnel in fields of humanities and social sciences introduced during recent years. The institute will focus on the periods of Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China, aiming to create a Changzhou mode of historical and cultural research.
